“Black Myth Wu Kong”, a gameplay video released by a Chinese indie studio Game Science, has swept the internet favoured by gamers, which could be the first acclaimed premium game that’s made in China. The video harvested 3 million views on Youtube channels (including reposts) and 11 million on Bilibili, known as Youtube’s Chinese counterpart. The comments and reviews have been overwhelmingly positive with expectations looking forward to its final release, though it might take an extra two years for the developers to implement what they showed in the gameplay video on a full-length game.
