Alibaba and JD both aim at Russian market

Because of the weakness of the domestic market, tech giants are altering their revenue focus outside of the country. Following the news last week of Alibaba partnering Mail.ru Group to widen its global reach in Russia, JD.com was recently reportedly aligned with Yandex to further its online retailing business. This is not the first cooperative deal struck between Yandex and China’s entrepreneurs as the Chinese B2C e-commerce site Lightinthebox and biological technology company ZKTeco were both on the co-working list.
