Alibaba’s partnership with Depot Office aiming to recruit small businesses in U.S.

Alibaba’s team-up with Depot Office signals its ambition to expand the overseas market. The collaboration entitles the Chinese retail giant access to “10 million business customers and 1,800 sales agents” who are able to link themselves to Alibaba.com global network of over 150,000 suppliers and placing orders on the one-stop shopping site saving time and money. As an example given by John Caplan, head of North America B2B at Alibaba Group, that “business start-ups buy office supplies from Office Depot sometimes also want to buy parts for their manufacturing factories, and now we can introduce them to Alibaba.”
