Alipay’s another expansion into global market with mini program
Alipay was reported to be partnering a Canadian on-demand food tech startup Clickdishes in several areas including Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton, where Chinese people are most densely populated. The cooperation was greatly welcomed by Canadian partners which enables them to promote brand awarenesses and increase local search volumes among Chinese residents and visitors. To expand the global market share, both Alipay and WeChat are eliciting merchants which are contracted to be equipped with their exclusive mobile payment method. The movement also manifests the efforts from Alipay on mini-programs promotion – by which WeChat has already gone virally popular.
