Baidu launched a driverless pilot service in Changsha, the capital city of the central Hunan province. After years of technical research and development, Baidu has finally reached the stage where a trial was made possible in collaboration with Changsha municipality by offering free rides to locals in an effort to increase public awareness. Auto-vehicle projects have been favored by Chinese investors for the last two years and the money pouring into the industry will definitely have an impact on forming and shaping its future.
