According to the media outlet Jiemian, that Bytedance, the mother company of Today’s Headline and Douyin (TikTok), has set its revenue target of this year at RMB 100 billion (about USD 15 billion), which means to double the aim for 2018’s RMB 50 billion. The drastic increase will mostly be fulfilled by the aggressive extension to the overseas market in regions such as Asia, Europe, and the US.
