Bytedance pledges to financially help the back community

TikTok has recently been accused of censoring content under hashtags which are relevant to the ongoing protests which were uploaded by black creators. Bytedance, the company behind the short video app, issued apologies, putting the alleged censorship down to “a technical glitch” while promising a further investigation into the case. The company also mentioned a $3 million donation aiming to assist and aid black communities.
