Bytedance’s enterprise app Lark uncovered its Chinese name
The rampant growth of Bytedance is causing everyone’s jaws to drop, whereas its expansion is still marching on – the next knock-out product will be its self-developing enterprise productive app, Lark. It announced the new Chinese name, Feishu (飞书), recently and shed its former logo, a blue Lark, in exchange for a blue paper airplane. Bytedance’s divergence, dipping into 2B (to business) industry, merged with the investment trend led by Chinese internet tycoons such as Alibaba and Tencent, which reiterated the dim prospect looming for the Chinese consumption economy. However, the financial outlook of Lark doesn’t really seem promising, since its precedent Dingding, backed by Alibaba, is still making losses after several rounds of fund aid, amounting to around RMB 10 billion.
