China May Take The Lead In Unifying Fast Charging Technical Standards
Recently, representatives of the European Parliament and the European Council agreed to unify the charging interface of all portable electronic devices in the EU region as USB type-C by 2024. So far, the mainstream models launched by Chinese mobile phone manufacturers have been switched to type-C interface. In addition, the European Parliament in a press release pointed out that the charging speed of devices that support fast charging should also be unified, so that users can use any compatible charger to charge the device at the same speed. In China, the standardization of mobile phone fast charging technology is constantly advancing, with the participation of many mobile phone and chip enterprises, laying the foundation for the subsequent development of relevant national standards. In the future, China may take the lead in realizing the unification of charging standards in the field of fast charging.
