Chinese plastic surgery app So-Young reported an 81% revenue increase year-on-year in the first quarter, surging to RMB 206.1 million ($30.7 million). The growth is mainly driven by the uprising number of users looking for surgery booking services, which suggests that the once conservative Chinese people who used to feel it a disgrace to engage with artificial beauty are now embracing the idea.
