Pressured by intensifying public oversight and scrutiny, Didi is transitioning its business focus from serving customers to providing companies with one-stop solutions. Xiaoju Automobile Solutions was set up by Didi in 2015, but not until last year did it start using its platform to offer financial services including insurance, automobile financing solutions, and payment services to riders, drivers, and car owners.
