Chinese vehicle giant, Geely, is now in the process of working with CASIC (China Aerospace Science and Engineering Group) on developing the next-generation of bullet trains. CASIC was reported last year as working on the “super train R&D” project which will allow trains to run at speed of 1,000 km/h, from which rate could be possibly increased to the possible 2,000, or even 4,000 km/h. At present, the fastest train in China can travel at 400 km/h.
