China is currently experiencing the largest wave of retirement in history. According to current data, the unemployment pressure on the economy will not be relieved by Gen Z job seekers. The generation born between 1996 and the early-mid 2000s takes up the biggest percentage among people looking for stable jobs. The problem is that the positions now being vacated during the wave of retirement do not meet the expectations or the qualifications of young people. For the whole employment environment to be in balance, schools, enterprises and society need to put more effort into finding suitable jobs for job seekers.
