Google search may come back to China with its “Project Dragonfly”

The “back to China” rumor is seemingly proved accurate by Google itself. Keith Enright, Google’s chief privacy officer, admitted the existence of the “Project Dragonfly” during a hearing about online privacy, but it’s “not even close yet”, according to ftchinese. Though it aroused great attention internationally, the project was strongly protested against by Google’s employees, and over 1,000 of them jointly opposed the managers’ not-opened decision which violates their tenants.
