The UK recently produced justification that Huawei poses a major risk to the country’s telecom networks since Huawei failed to address security flaws when discovered and demonstrate a lack of commitment to fixing them. Though the report rebuked Huawei’s engineering concerns, it refuted the idea that the defects were attributed to governmental interference. This may also indicate the end of the ban by the UK of the products from the Chinese telecom equipment giant, as soon as the issue in question could be addressed.
