Huawei is “open” to sell 5G modems to Apple

Facing the feud with the leading 5G enabling chip maker Qualcomm, together with an insufficient output of 5G modems by its supplier Intel, Apple is having problems launching the 5G iPhone in 2019. From the available options, Huawei stands out as the model Balong 5000 chipset fully supports interoperability over 5G networks built on 4G infrastructure and dedicated 5G equipment. However, comments from Huawei are not forthcoming according to TechNode, and some industrial insiders said it might just be Apple’s “wishful thinking”.
