Huawei’s international business has been greatly impacted by the US sanctions, whose detrimental effect is not easily discernible as it is an unlisted company. However the Shanghai-based Hurun publishing group has come out with an estimated number which can to some extent reflect the damage. Hurun compared Huawei to similar publicly traded companies and concluded its valuation shrank from RMB 1.2 trillion in 2019 to RMB 1.1 trillion this year.
