Indian court lifted the ban on TikTok after being promised more investment

The decision made on the 3rd of April was reversed by the Indian court, in relation to the ban on Bytedance’s short video platform TikTok. During the hearing on Wednesday, the company pledged a commitment to increase job opportunities, further investment and to perfect the content filtering mechanism in India. Whichever move brought it success in the action to remove the ban, Bytedance should feel relieved about not losing such an important market with a huge potential for expansion.
