The sanction against Huawei is upgrading. Recently, the Japanese government joined in the boycott campaign initiated by the US to halt sourcing ZTE and Huawei equipment. Though private companies are not affected by the ban on procurement, some still choose to “distance from Huawei”, declaring that they are not business related. The major concern aroused by the American allies was drawn on cyber-security, for fear of being spied by China’s government.
