China is seeing a resurgence in travel along with a decline in the cases reported of COVID-19. JD, after selling all of its 21% stake in one of the past leading OTAs Tuniu in June, has recently struck a strategic partnership with BTG Huilian Technology, promoting digitalized management in tourism associated fields as well as cloud services build-up following a $63 million investment in travel service Caissa. BTG boasts a powerful offline network covering aspects from hotel, retailing to catering.
