JD express delivery services for individuals went online
JD Logistics CEO Wang Zhenhui announced on 18th that the company has launched JD express enabling individuals to place delivery orders. Touted as a high-end express service provider, JD express is aiming at providing users a differential choice in a niche market. The new business starts in Beijing and Shanghai and will expand to 30-50 cities in China by next year. JD Logistics currently boasts over 500 warehouses covering a total of 11.6 million square meters across China, and its march to to-customer service will definitely sharpen the competition with existing delivery service providers such as SF, YTO and ZTO, etc.
