Following Tencent and ByteDance, the e-commerce giant JD recently rolled out a Zoom-like video conferencing app, JoyMeeting, catering for the increasing demand for remote workplace tools across the globe. Tech companies in China are diverting major business focuses from consumer-facing services to the enterprise. The app will facilitate employees to telecommute one-on-one conversations, meetings, interviews, and lectures.
