Luckin Coffee to team up with Ele.me with an attempt to boost revenue

The loss-making coffee startup, which exploded its market share by deploying a fission marketing strategy, is in the negotiation phase to enter a partnership with Ele.me in an aim to expand its delivery service, which might in turn spur sales and income. The ongoing cooperation with another food delivery service provider, Meituan, has not seen a projected return – the orders completed in the first month after its initial launch flagged only 500 – cited an insider source.
