An update on a previous discussion – the world’s leading skin product maker Estee Lauder and the Chinese international e-commerce supernova Kaola, which is backed by NetEase, decided to put an end to their legal disputes. Some insiders believed that the charges against each other were dropped mainly because of the robust selling figures from the platform, which has potential to translate into revenue growth for Estee Lauder if two parties collaborate rather than fight. Cross-border e-commerce seems to be an industry in China that’s still growing with momentum, despite the overall increasing sluggishness of the domestic economy.
