The Network Information Bureau is working on whipping self-described influencers into shape

Recently, the National Network Information Bureau has cleaned up 9,800 or so self-media accounts on suspicion of spreading inflammatory stories which had misinformed the masses. WeChat and Weibo management teams were also warned for being too much slow on complying with their responsibility for supervising distributed content and setting up restrictions eliminating negative valued misleading influencers.
