Facing the slow down in active buyers growth during a 12-month period from 50% to 42%, ending March 31, 2020, Pinduoduo started its new campaign to solicit youngster who are in strong demand for their fashion spending. The WeChat mini program Duochao is part of the initiative, with Pinduoduo’s great ambition to compete with community incumbents in the sector such as Xiaohongshu or Red, Dewu, formerly Poizon, and Nice.
