Tencent and NetEase were not to be found on latest video game approvals

Though the stringent regulations with regard to issuing game licenses were said to be easing since the new year, Tencent and NetEase were for the third time absent from the approval list. The market has not yet recovered from the last round of strict control – no new titles were published for nearly nine months – during which, Tencent was reported losing around $160 billion in market value.
