Tencent is not on the list of the first batch of game titles approvals

Recently China lifted its nine months moratorium on gaming approval regulation and granted licenses to 80 new titles. However, none are from the two Chinese gaming giants, namely Tencent and Netease. Though the hammer-down wiped Tencent about $200 billion off its market value since a January peak, specialists in the industry are generally positive about the longer prospect of its profit and loss account – both companies “should benefit as the dust settles”.
