Tencent teams up with the University of Hong Kong on fintech development

The flourishing online financial market is pushing internet behemoths to seek development opportunities. Tencent recently announced the cooperation agreement with the University of Hong Kong, where blockchain hubs are being freely developing, with regard to work on joint fintech-related research projects. The action matches actions by other internet-based financial leaders, such as Alibaba Ant Financial and Ping’an, which are increasing their efforts to establish their reign in fintech region.
