Tesla’s new Gigafactory will be located in Lingang, Shanghai. The price for securing the land is reportedly 0.97 billion yuan and the number of the aggregated investment will probably exceed 14.1 billion. Given the company’s financial status as a still loss, Tesla is in a desperate to pull up its manufacturing capacity in order to sell more vehicles. Maybe aiming at Chinese customers is an idea from which to reap great benefits in the future.
