Trip.com suffers from the aftermath of COVID-19 in China

Since the pandemic has been successfully brought down in China, industries have experienced a resurgence and people are back to their life and work. However its impact on online travel agents lingers as the international business suffers due to the widespread pandemic persistence abroad. The leading travelling platform, Trip.com, reported its net revenue of $448 million in the first half of the year, falling 64% year on year. In spite of a strong momentum of domestic recovery, the revenue gap continues as the international travel segment weighs.
