Weibo’s new lifestyle app targets social e-commerce

Lvzhou, or Oasis in English, the under-testing app by Weibo, is widely accepted as a new tool to fend off pressure from the fierce competition of Xiaohongshu. It is a hybrid of Instagram and Xiaohongshu in format and in some major features, giving users a similar experience to these two applications. Though the e-commerce function is not yet included, it’s predicted to be added to the overall service soon.
