Will Samsung reverse its market decline in China by embracing 5G?
Samsung, which used to be in the top five handset vendor in China, released its first 5G-enabled smartphone onto Chinese market, wishing to return to the throne where it was once ensconced. The backlash it received in 2016 from providing a different device return policy in China in response to incidents of a serial global phone explosion has battered its brand image.
